Founded over six decades ago, CALA has been a beacon of hope in Louisiana’s fight against cancer with a core mission to provide access to care and improve quality of life for vulnerable patients undergoing cancer treatment in Louisiana.
CALA supports patients and their families during diagnosis and treatment by removing barriers to care and ensuring that all patients are able to receive the quality of care they deserve. CALA works closely with treatment teams throughout the state to provide solutions to barriers such as transportation needs, food insecurity and medical supplies.
