Our mission

Our vision

 .

Our story

The Cancer Association of Greater New Orleans (CAGNO), has become the Cancer Association of Louisiana (CALA).  The CALA mission remains the same as CAGNO by supporting local cancer patients as well as cancer patients in Louisiana by funding necessities crucial to their healing and improving their quality of life. Since 1959 CAGNO and now CALA has worked to reduce the burden of cancer for patients and their families. A diagnosis of cancer can be costly. Without CALA, these services must be met by family or friends or not met at all. Providing support empowers patients to continue on their path to recovery.

Join our mission. Volunteer, Donate, Advocate. Get Started Today.
